Merry & Bright Mini Album

Hello Everyone! Here it is...my last class of the year 2018! I cannot believe how fast time flies. This year has been going by super fast for me! 

If you plan on being in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018, I hope you will come join me for my Merry & Bright mini album class, which I will be teaching at the Whim So Doodle store. Whether you want to record your family's Christmas memories or give it as a Christmas gift, this "Merry & Bright" mini album is perfect for you!

Create this adorable 6" x 8" mini album, with the combination of papers and page protectors. Inside are fifteen beautiful pages, created and embellished using products from Simple Stories' Merry & Bright collection.

All the pages will be housed in its own Merry & Bright Sn@p 6"x8" binder. As always, the best part about my class kit is that all the papers are already cut for you! Your kit will include everything you need to create this beautiful Merry & Bright mini album along with step by step full color instructions. You will have so much fun putting this mini album together!

Happy fall everyone! Fall is my favorite time of the year! I always look forward to the cooler weather and the change in the color of the leaves. Most important of all, it is the season where we reflect on what we are thankful and grateful for in our lives. 

Every year, around the month of October, I usually teach a Halloween mini album class. However, this year, we are going to do something different. With some encouragement from my friend, Dianne (Thanks Dianne!), I decided to do a fall mini album.

Cute Girl and Cool Kid Configuration Book | Whim So Doodle

Hello Everyone! Do you have a cute girl or a cool kid (or both) at home? If so, you are going to love my configuration book classes. Not only are these configuration books perfect for your own kid(s) at home, but they are also perfect to give as a baby shower gift.

Travel Journal - Trinidad and Tobago

Hello everyone! Today, I am going to share with you a project, which I had designed for the Whim So Doodle store last year. I was told that this project was quite popular. It was displayed at the store for a year!

My husband and I went to Trinidad and Tobago in May of 2015. We spent a total of three weeks between the two islands! I visited Trinidad many times (since my husband grew up there), but this was my first time visiting Tobago. Let me tell you...I have never seen water so blue and clear before in my life!

October Afternoon | Christmas Mini Album

Happy Friday everyone! My last project as a designer of the month for October Afternoon is up on their blog today. It has been such an honor designing for October Afternoon. 

I have definitely saved the best project for last! It is going to be this cute Christmas mini album (measured 5” x 7.5”), using products from the Under the Tree collection.  

The inspiration for this mini album came from my first week’s project, which was the Christmas shaker card project.

Trick or Treat Mini Book Class | Whim So Doodle

Hi there! My first class at Whim So Doodle was a success! We had so much fun putting "Our Happy Life" mini book together. Thank you everyone for attending and purchasing my class kits. It was one of the best classes I have ever taught.  

For those of you who love Halloween, you are going to love my next project, which I will be teaching at Whim So Doodle on October 17th, 2015. It is going to be this cute Trick or Treat mini book. We will be using products from Carta Bella (Trick or Treat collection)and Tim Holtz. In addition, you will receive a couple pieces of vintage treasures, which I have acquired over time.

My Favorite Scrapbook Collection

What is your favorite scrapbook collection of all time? Mine is the Maggie Holmes, Open Book collection. I love the colors, the icons, the flowers...I love everything about this collection.

I had an opportunity to design a clipboard mini book for Whim So Doodle using this collection. I was so happy when I finally spread the entire collection out on my craft table. I hope you will enjoy looking at the pictures of my clipboard mini book. Grab some snacks and a drink because it is going to be a long post!

Summer Folio Mini Book - Version II

As promised in my last post, here is my Summer Folio Mini Book - Version II. I taught this class at the Scraporium store back in June of 2015. I have been on Scraporium's design team and teaching there since 2011. 

I used products from one of my favorite scrapbooking companies, Crate Paper - Poolside collection. The folio is from Tim Holtz.

I love the colors of this collection...turquoise, yellow and pink with just the perfect touch of gold! Oh my!
